The Ink Demon is a demonic ruler of the Dark Puddles as well as the ink realm in its entirety. A twisted entity made of ink, he first started out as a failed attempt at creating the Joey Drew Studios' popular mascot Bendy in real life using the Ink Machine, a defect among several other physical cartoon characters due to lacking a soul.
The Ink Demon is the primary antagonist of the Bendy franchise. He debuted in Bendy and the Ink Machine, returned in Bendy and the Dark Revival, and also appeared in Bendy: Secrets of the Machine and Bendy: Lone Wolf. His book counterpart also appeared throughout the novel series.
