André Øvredal is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter hired by Joey Drew Studios Inc to direct the Bendy and the Ink Machine film adaptation by Radar Pictures and Double Down Pictures.

About

He is best known for writing and directing the film Trollhunter. Øvredal wrote for 20th Century Fox Television the pilot episode of action-horror television series Enormous, which is based on the comic book of the same name.

On October 21st of 2024, it was officially announced that the Bendy and the Ink Machine film had a director; it was confirmed that Øvredal was the director on October 31st; in the official announcement, he stated that he was excited for the movie and promised to make something that would honor the world of Bendy and the Ink Machine.
