"Bendyland Mini-Games" is a memo written by an unknown individual to Joey Drew about the Bendy Land mini-games.[1]
Transcript
- Bendyland Mini-Games
- Mister Drew, here are the game concepts for the midway, as requested. These will bring in quite a nice amount of revenue for the park.
- Strength Tester
- Classic strongman game. Pick up the mallet and hit the target to try to ring the bell. Your hit will be scored: "Weak!," "Man Baby!," "Brute!," and "Super!" This game has nothing to do with strength. It's all about timing.
- Bottle Wallop
- Classic knock 'em down game. Take the three balls on the counter and toss them at three stacks of three bottles. Knock over all nine of the bottles in order to win the game. We'll make a killing here—players don't know that the bottles are specially weighted. They're best off aiming at the lower necks of the two bottom bottles.
- Bull's Eyes Bonanza
- Use the toy gun to hit different targets as they appear; do not hit the targets with an "X" through them. Destroy all good targets in order to win. The speed of this will make it particularly difficult, plus the gun will only be loaded with enough bullets for the correct number of targets. Miss a shot, and you've already lost.
Behind the scenes
This memo was found in the Chapter 4 of Part I in Joey Drew Studios Employee Handbook, and later in its updated edition.
Notes
- ↑ Bendy Land began production in 1940, meaning the memo was likely written sometime during it's production stage.
