Transcript

The biggest park ever built, a centerfold of attractions.
Each one, more grand than the one before it.
It makes my eyes come to tears at the thought.
But then... oh Mister Drew.
For all your talk of dreams, you are the true architect behind so many nightmares.
I built this park. It was to be a masterpiece! My masterpiece!
And now you think you can just throw me out? Trample me to the dust and forget me?
No! This is my park! My glory!
You may think I've gone...
But I'm still here![1]

Location

In Bendy and the Ink Machine: Chapter 4 - Colossal Wonders, the audio log is located at Storage 9's Attraction Storage, found on a table wired to Bertrum.

When the audio log is played, it awakens an ink incarnation of Bertrum himself, triggering a boss fight. The audio log now ends up getting destroyed by Bertrum's arm.

Behind the scenes

Bertrum's Reveal is Bertrum Piedmont's second and last audio log found in the fourth chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine.[1]

Other information

This is the first audio log of Bendy and the Ink Machine that must be played in order to progress the game, as well as featuring standard in-game subtitles instead of the audio log's usual transcript pop-up, and it cannot be played again, with the second audio log being "The End".

Some of Bertrum's lines from his audio log were used for some Bendy and the Ink Machine trailer videos, including the first official trailer (post-Chapter 4 release).

Bertrum's "But I'm still here!" line is referenced in the last closing sentence of Mike D's vent poem, which was hidden in the files of Bendy and the Dark Revival's early patches.[2]

Notes

  1. The name "Bertrum's Reveal" comes from the Bendy and the Ink Machine game's source code, but it was not officially used outside of the codes.
