The name COVID message is conjectural and unofficial. This name will be used until the official name is confirmed.

The COVID message was a memo that was added in Boris and the Dark Survival for The Unleashed update. It was a message added by the Joey Drew Studios Inc team to wish everyone safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of the Symphony of Shadows update, the memo was removed.

No matter how scary some things may get. All things can pass and hope always endures.

With this update for Boris and the Dark Survival, all of us at the studio wish the world strength, courage, health, and full hearts.

In The Unleashed update only, the memo can be examined from the Butcher Gang's cell after collecting all five keys and releasing them from their crate.
