"A world made of paper and ink, where he'd torment his own version of Henry forevermore."
Joey Drew describing the creation of the Henry Stein caricature.

The caricatures are a race of ink being that are modeled after real-world humans and the default form a person takes after entering the ink realm.

Characteristics

Physical appearance

Caricatures vary in appearance depending the person they are modeled after. Although, they are all humans or human-like beings that are made of ink and appear sketched out.

Intelligence

Caricatures have regular human-level intelligence, being able to communicate, reason with, and strategize. Caricatures that contain souls still seem to have of their original personality and memories intact.

The users of the 3-D glasses, when the glasses is worn, find themselves transferred to a cartoon version of their body, like a caricature. These people stay in this form until they take the glasses off and exit the ink realm.

Behind the scenes

The caricatures debuted in Chapter 1: Moving Pictures of Bendy and the Ink Machine. However, their existence wasn't revealed until the release of Bendy and the Dark Revival.
