Characters
Plot
Bendy walks down the street and a movie flyer blows on Bendy's face. Bendy calls Boris on a telephone and reaches through the telephone line to show the flyer to Boris, as a way to request going to the movies with him. Boris instantly declines and goes back to sleep, causing Bendy to cry. As Bendy is crying, someone taps his shoulder, turning out to be Alice Angel. She greets Bendy and agrees to go to the movies with him. Delighted, Bendy grabs her hand and sprints to the movie theater.
At the theater, Bendy excitedly eats popcorn while Alice is looking around curiously. The curtains open up to reveal a film title "The Large Sleep", a movie that begins with the scene of Boris sleeping as he was earlier in the cartoon, revealing the twist that Boris was actually busy with his acting performance for the movie this whole time. Alice chuckles while Bendy facepalms at the movie.

Other information
Initially, the cartoon's year date inside the lore of the Bendy series was not revealed when the short was uploaded, with the summary only estimated that the cartoon was released in the "golden era". Its year date was later shown in the cartoon compilation video on April 14, 2025, and the original video's summary was updated to include the cartoon's official year date.[1][2]
One of Bendy's frames from this short, namely one from the scene when Alice first appears, is seen in the prologue of Bendy and the Dark Revival as a frame that Audrey was working on at her animation desk.[3]
