This article refers to the audio log. For other uses, see Dark revival (disambiguation).

"Dark Revival" is the title of Wilson Arch's audio log.[1]

Transcript

It's important to seize an opportunity before it slides through your wrenched fingers. The past so often dies without passing on its bountiful secrets. But oh Mr Joey Drew, the secrets you've left behind. How very interesting. Such knowledge! Such opportunity. The time draws near, for a dark revival to come at last!

Location

The audio log is hidden inside the men's restroom. To unlock it, play as Sammy Lawrence, go and complete the levels without dying while playing the instruments to correspond the ink drawings from the men's restroom (seen above the restroom's table with Sammy's mask):

  • Bass fiddle
  • Drum
  • Violin
  • Piano
  • Drum

Now come back to the safehouse after finishing the level, then go to the kitchen area and interact with the banjo; doing so will trigger the sound accompanied by the orchestra warm-up. Finally, return to the men's restroom; the audio log should be found from the hole of the brick wall.[1]

Behind the scenes

This audio log was found in Bendy: Lone Wolf.[1] It was originally found in the predecessor Boris and the Dark Survival after being introduced in the Symphony of Shadows update.[2]

Initially, in Boris and the Dark Survival, the audio log's file name used an official title instead of being labelled as BATDS_Log_[character's first name]01 and BATDS_AudioDiary_[character's first name]; this is likely due to keeping the spoiler concealed for Wilson's name at that time prior to the release of Bendy and the Dark Revival. In Bendy: Lone Wolf, the audio log's file name is now BLW_AudioLog_ID111_WilsonArch.

A cleaner version of Wilson's "How very interesting, such... knowledge." line was previously heard in the final Bendy and the Dark Revival audio log teaser.

Notes

  1. The full date was not confirmed, but since Joey Drew passed away on 1971, it was heavily implied that the audio log was recorded somewhere in the early 1970s prior to the events of Bendy and the Dark Revival in 1973.
