Flyers
The Flyers are inky versions of the Gwens[1] that inhabit the lower areas of the ink realm.[2]
Characteristics
Physical appearance
As their name implies, they are flying ink creatures with spherical bodies, bat-like wings, a stubby tail, and yellowish brown-coated backs covered in small holes. Their face appears to be melted, mostly exposing their internal skull. Their eye sockets are asymmetrically sewn with rope stitches.
Behavior
The Flyers pursue and attack their targets once detected them. A Gwen spits a several bullets in one move, making its attacks fairly hard to dodge in close range.
Gameplay
Strategy
The Flyers, since they fly relatively slow, are the easiest enemies to kill, simply with just one hit in Easy and Normal mode, but two hits in Hard mode.
Upon death, the Flyers has a rare chance to drop a Bacon Soup can.
Locations
The Flyers are first encountered in the Abyss levels and can spawn from random areas. They later appear in all other levels, except for Level 414.
Weapon data
The Flyers' health is varied in three difficulty modes: +1 health point (Easy and Normal) and +2 health points (Hard).

Development
The Flyer actually reused the Gwen's original model from Bendy in Nightmare Run, albeit modified.
Prior to their official reveal in the "Fight the Darkness" marketing short, the Flyers' existence were first hinted from the game's achievement leak on July 18, 2025. On August 1, 2025, Mike D updated his X/Twitter profile banner with a screenshot of Boris fighting the Flyer in the Tunnels.
