Indiscernible

From Bendy Wiki

"Indiscernible"[b] is the title of Grant Cohen's audio log.[1]

Analysis

There is no actual monologue for this audio log. From what was heard, it was a recorded audio of Grant Cohen's transformation process into an ink creature.[a]

It first sounds like Grant's muffling and breathing, accompanied with a shattering glass, then Grant makes a gag-like cough and finally lets out a loud hoarse cry, before the tape ends with a soft inhuman groan and some sounds of splashing ink.

Location

In Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders, at the Accounting & Finance location, the audio log is found in Grant Cohen's management office on the far left side of the desk, near the small ink puddle.[1]

Behind the scenes

Indiscernible is Grant Cohen's second and last audio log in Bendy and the Ink Machine.[1]

This is the only audio log of the Bendy series to have the recorder's name unidentified and without supporting an actual speech record, with the name referred as "Voice of Unknown" while the transcript only reads as "(Indiscernible)".

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 The anonymous audio log recorder's identity revealing to be Grant Cohen is linked to the audio log's location in Grant's management office, and the texture files for the office wall's ink messages are referred as 'cohen_words_decal.png'. For the most convincing piece of evidence, the tape's audio file name is referred as 'CH4_AudioLog_grant_transformation_TEMP.ogg'.
  2. The name "Indiscernible" comes from the Bendy and the Ink Machine game's source code, but it was not officially used outside of the codes.
