Ink hearts

The ink hearts are organs likely used to pump ink through the vines of various creatures within the ink realm. They can also be used by other ink beings to refine themselves, making their appearance more "perfect".
Characteristics
Physical appearance
The ink hearts appear as conical-shaped organs, having a light-colored surface with visible blood vessels on them. They have veins sticking out of their tops, having been severed from the body. Occasionally, parts of their surface are covered in ink.
Usage
The ink hearts are normally used for biological functions within the body. However, they can also be used by other ink creatures to make themselves appear more 'perfect', using an unexplained method.

Bendy and the Ink Machine
- In Chapter 3: Rise and Fall, the ink hearts can be found held in the hands of fallen Butcher Gang members around the Projectionists' Offices.
- In Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders, the hearts are found in the Maintenance area on a box next to the trains.
Bendy and the Dark Revival
- In Chapter 1: Drawn to Darkness, inside of the Little Devil Lounge, a single ink heart is located in the kitchen that can be grabbed if Audrey required Flow from Porter and Fast Travel from Heidi and take it all the way back to Big Steve to get the final Gent Pipe schematic.
Bendy: Lone Wolf
- At the Abyss, the ink hearts can be found lying on ground in dead Butcher Gang members all around the level.

Behind the scenes
The ink hearts are quest items of the Bendy series. They first appear in Bendy and the Ink Machine: Chapter 3 - Rise and Fall, and later in Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders. They also return in Bendy and the Dark Revival and Bendy: Lone Wolf.
