Mechanical Boris
- This article is about a robotic counterpart of Boris. For other uses, see Boris (disambiguation).
The mechanical Boris is a robotic recreation of Joey Drew Studios' cartoon character Boris the Wolf, presumably an invention of Bertrum Piedmont's for use in Bendy Land. It would've likely been used for performances, but never properly saw the light of day.[1]
History
Origins
The animatronic was likely built for Bendy Land, and ended up being pretty close to being finished, but was never seen by the fans of Bendy.
In the ink realm
The ink realm counterpart of the mechanical Boris resides in the Bendy Land warehouse, where it chases anyone who enters its sight, hitting them upon close range.[1]
Characteristics
Physical appearance
The mechanical Boris generally bears a heavily robotic appearance of Boris. It notably wears a downgraded Boris mask, with stitched mouth and the left eye plate lost, which exposes a human-like eyeball underneath.
The animatronic itself splits into two segments, the upper torso and bottom. Its torso consists of multiple sockets, functioning as attachments to head and arms, while the bottom takes shape of prisms and warped hemispheres (representing the shoes). Similar to other mechanical mascots, this animatronic has a radiator that could be barely seen positioned at the center of its generator and also lost the left arm, exposing the wires sticking out.
