Instruments are musical objects used by Joey Drew Studios' Music Department members as their purpose in composing music for the Bendy cartoons, with music direction lead by Sammy Lawrence. Each instruments play their musical note, simply by interacting them.

Piano

The piano is a keyboard instrument used by Joey Drew Studios' recording studio. Another variant is owned by Wilson Arch for his mansion.
Banjo

The banjo is a string instrument used by Joey Drew Studios' recording studio, and one is displayed at Arch Gate Pictures' Joey Drew's exhibit. In the ink realm, cartoon versions of banjos are found in several places, and one of them is owned by Boris for his safehouse.
It is Sammy Lawrence's favorite instrument.
Violin
The violin is a string instrument used by Joey Drew Studios' recording studio.
Lacking a chinrest, and being quite a bit thicker, the studio's violin bears a slightly different appearance from that of an actual modern violin. Also, lacking a bow, the violin is plucked instead, even though the sounds of the violin depicted in Sammy's voice recording are typically made with the bowing techniques.

Drum
The drum is an instrument used by Joey Drew Studios' recording studio.
Pipe organ
The pipe organ is a keyboard instrument used by Joey Drew Studios. It was found in one of the small rooms at the studio's Music Department, and another one is used for Bendy Land's Haunted House ballroom.
Clarinet
The clarinet is an unseen wind instrument used by Joey Drew Studios for the Sheep Songs! cartoon, where Boris is playing the instrument.
Behind the scenes
The instruments are some of the recurring objects in the Bendy series. Their first appearance is the second chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine, where they can be found in the recording studio, and are the key to solving Sammy's music puzzle to gain access to his sanctuary. In the third chapter, the instruments are found in the stairs close to Level 11 and used for triggering Sammy's hidden voice. Some instruments later return in Bendy and the Dark Revival.
The instruments also reappeared in Boris and the Dark Survival. As of the Symphony of Shadows update, they can be used to unlock a hidden "Dark Revival" audio log.
