Riley Wells
"Riley's an amazing artist for her age... but her morbid drawings of monsters are scaring the other students. Could you speak to her?" |
Riley Wells was an artist who worked for Joey Drew Studios, before getting fired for creating "disturbing artwork," and then started working for Gent.[1]
History
Early Life
When Riley was young, she had a passion for drawing. When she was 6, her parents died in a car accident. In Chilton Middle School, despite being considered a good artist, the trauma of the tragedy caused her to start drawing "monsters that scare the other students" such as a sentient monster car[1] and other unseen creations.[2]
Hiring and firing from Joey Drew Studios
On February 1st, at the age of 17 Riley was hired to Joey Drew Studios after her art samples were received. After working for an unknown amount of time, she was fired due to her drawings being too grim and disturbing.
After these events, Riley joined the Gent Corporation, presumably as a test subjects, and was likely experimented on with the ink. It is implied that she was sent to the ink realm.[1]
Behind the scenes
Riley's existence was first revealed in Bendy: Secrets of the Machine, during the game her backstory is revealed through flashbacks inside the Drawing Board.
