Signal towers
"How do you like my signal towers? They nullify the Ink Demon's powers so he cannot pass them. I wish I could say I invented them, but it seem that our friends at the Gent Corporation had a demon problem of their own, long ago." |
The signal towers are machines, presented as large metallic towers invented by the Gent Corporation to nullify the abilities of the ink realm's residents.
History
Origins
The signal towers where invented by the Gent Corporation during the time of Joey Drew Studios[2] since they had a "demon problem".[3] The towers were installed to nullify the Ink Demon's powers and stop him from passing them.
Wilson's usage
After taking control of the ink realm, Wilson Arch took the technology of Gent, including the signal towers, and used them to reinforce his control over the realm. The signal towers themselves were used to nullify the powers of the realm's residents, specifically the Ink Demon's, to keep the ink realm safe and under control. The towers were mainly installed in locations used by Wilson, such as the Gent Workshop and his retreat.
The signal towers were also used to nullify Audrey Drew's powers with this being another part of Wilson's plan, hoping to prevent Audrey from using her 'devilish' powers on him.

Functions
The signal towers, after being turned on, start emitting colored electrical currents. Anything in the range of the machines would have their abilities nullified, this effect would last until either the machine is turned off or the range of it ends.
Behind the scenes
The signal towers debut in the fourth chapter of Bendy and the Dark Revival as one of the non-interactable gameplay-related objects and reappear in the fifth chapter.
