Tombstone Picnic (comic)
- This article refers to the comic. For the original cartoon, see Tombstone Picnic.
The comic version for Tombstone Picnic was a syndicated comic strip originally included for Bendy: Crack-up Comics Collection, would have been used for page 20, but the comic was never featured in the book's final release. The comic would have been published on December 31, 1931.
Author Vannotes confirmed that it was just a test comic done by artists to see what the direction of the comic collection book could turn out.[2] Despite this, the comic's final panel is still in the book, used for the syndicated-era comic's introduction page. The full comic is available on Scholastic's preview page.[1]
Plot
The comic's plot is basically based on the first part of the original cartoon, where Bendy walks to the cemetery with a picnic basket and suddenly his ankle gets grabbed by the skeleton.
