Trailer Room
"FEEL FAMILIAR?" |
The Trailer Room is a long corridor, seen within the ink realm.
Background
The Trailer Room begins with a sharp left turn, with a couple steamer trunks and a crate to the right. On top of one of the trunks is an audio log. Continuing down the hall, a leak coming from pipes behind a grate is seen, along with a couple trash cans, Tasty Eats' machines, and a barrel to the right. moving further, there's a couple ink leaks from the ceiling, causing one specific part of the ground to be flooded.
After this, there's a metallic gate to the left and a hallway to the right. Going down the right path leads to a somewhat split hallway. The right side contains a stool, walls made of machinery, and an abrupt dead end. On the left is a slightly larger area, with the Ink Machine seen going down behind a metal fence. This inaccessible area has many walls of machinery around it.
Points of interest
- An audio log from Wally Franks and Thomas Connor is near the entrance.
Behind the scenes
The Trailer Room is a minor location in Bendy and the Ink Machine: Chapter 3. It was added with the DLC release of Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders.
Development
This was originally used as a test area for the game and was never planned to be properly added. The developers did find it suitable to use for Chapter 3's Reveal Trailer, however.[2]
In the trailer, this area was shown to contain both Striker and Piper running around the area, and also the Ink Demon chasing after Henry. The ink veins were not seen on the walls in the trailer, either implying that the Ink Demon wasn't actually there, or that the veins were simply removed for the scene, both most likely being for cinematic purposes. The Striker seemingly manages to travel upstairs as well, as they are seen on the balcony moments after their brief appearance with the Piper down below. Finally, at the end of the trailer, the Ink Demon jumps at the Miracle Station in the end, with implications that he broke the door and killed Henry in the moment.
The Trailer Room would later be added after the DLC release of Chapter 4, mainly referencing the Reveal Trailer. While the Ink Demon and Butcher Gang can enter here, they won't act as they did in Chapter 3. Since most areas in the Trailer Room became explorable, the extra areas that the Piper and the Striker were once seen walking around in received some upgrades. The Ink Machine area was added to the first place, and the handrails were replaced with their Chapter 4 upgrades on the balcony. The ceiling was also obviously changed to fit with the game.
