Version 1.0.2, also known as Patch 0.2, is an update patch released for Bendy and the Ink Machine on May 8, 2017.

Documented changes

• The axe is improved.
• The options menu is updated.
• Bug fixes.
• The player's respawn object is introduced in Chapter 2: The Old Song. Instead of a Bendy statue from the game's final version, it is an ink-drawn pentagram with a pulsating ink blob at the center. When Henry is attacked by the Searchers too much, he would respawn there instead of restarting the whole chapter.

Undocumented changes

Chapter 1: Moving Pictures

• The miniature Bendy cutout from the theater's closet was fixed to have its new glove design matched with other updated cutouts.

Chapter 2: The Old Song

• After getting killed by the Ink Demon in his chase sequence, Sammy's ritual cutscene skips to the part where he walks to the office door, instead of restarting the entire cutscene.

Behind the scenes

The image used the "DO NOT LET JOEY SEE THIS" text from Bendy's expression sheet in Chapter 2.

Despite the image's changelog implying that the game is added with new secrets, no such secrets were ever found in this update.
