This patch was released on April 18, 2017.
Upon initial release of Chapter 2: The Old Song, Chapter 1 receives its first remastered overhaul, including:
- New areas added
- Bacon Soup collectible added
- Running ability added
- Achievements added
- Updated main menu
- Updated character models
- Updated locations
- Updated ending
Update patch 1.2.0.1
This patch was released on April 27, 2017.
It is an incredibly minor update. It fixes the issue with Chapter 2's download from the game's first release on Steam.
Update patch 1.1.0.2
This patch was released on May 8, 2017.
This is the version used when the Chapter Two DLC has not been purchased on Steam.

Update patch 1.3.0

This patch was released on September 28, 2017.
Upon initial release of Chapter 3: Rise and Fall, the first and second chapter receives another remastered overhaul, including:
- New locations
- New audio log
- Updated characters' models
- Updated endings
Update patch 1.3.1.3
- Main article: Version 1.3.1 (Bendy and the Ink Machine)
This patch was released on October 5, 2017.
- Added a game pre-loader for the beginning before the main menu.
- Updated functionality to the option menu.
- Added more graphical options.
- Graphics adjustments.
- Updates to various text.
- Updated credits to include TimetheHobo for animating the "Tombstone Picnic" cartoon, previously called "Graveyard Picnic", while fixing the first animated short's title and adding the characters' voice listing to give the voice providers more credits.
- Additional optimization.
- When obtained, the cans of Bacon Soup will no longer appear again upon playing each chapters again.
- Credits now load properly.
- Chapter 2 loads properly.
- Fixed the unobtainable "Hearing Voices" achievement.
- AI paths updated.
- Enemy pathing updates.

Released on October 26, 2017.
It introduces the Bendy and the Ink Machine/Hello Neighbor crossover Halloween mod, titled Hello Bendy.
Update patch 1.4.0.0
Released April 30, 2018.
Upon Chapter 4's release, the previous three chapters are heavily remastered from better lighting to new rooms, sounds, and textures.

Update patch 1.4.1.0
This patch was released on May 8, 2018.

- Lighting fixed.
- New save system.
- Chapter 5's title is removed from the Chapter Selection screen.
Update patch 1.5.0.0
This patch was released on October 28, 2018.
Chapter 5 has been released, but many bug linger throughout.
- A button is added on the main menu to take players to the merch store.
- The Archives is added, shown on the chapter selection screen as "Chapter ?"
Update patch 1.5.1.2
- Main article: Version 1.5.1.2 (Bendy and the Ink Machine)
This patch was released on October 24, 2024.
It features the Ink Demon's Eve event, along with few other changes such as the removal of the main menu screen's merch store button.
