Bendy Wiki:Rules of Conduct

By being a part of contributing the Bendy Wiki, you must agree and abide with the Rules of Conduct. Failure to do so will risk in getting a warning or block.

  • Behavior - Everyone deserves respect. Please remain civilized and have appropriate discussions with users in their talk page or page discussions. Harassment, baiting, personal attacking, or any vulgar behavior to both users and administrators will not be taken too kindly. Keep in mind that anyone who respond to rule-violating users with harassment will receive a warning to both parties.
  • Vandalism - The wiki has zero tolerance for page vandalism or any disruptive edits for that matter. It will automatically ban you for six months or much more severe lengths.
  • Intolerance - Expressing discrimination or intentionally using slurs to degrade people based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc, will land the offenders with a permanent ban without warning.
  • Spamming - Spamming is not allowed. Spamming is considered anything that was repetitive and overly used in the community. It comes with many forms, including trolling, flooding with gibberish words or letters, using Zalgo texts, uploading a very large row of images, etc.
  • Roleplaying - This wiki is no place for roleplaying, so keep them out of the talk pages and page discussions.
  • Profile - User profiles are decorative with adding images and descriptions about their favorites, opinions, and thoughts. Although, profiles do have limits; doing something like editing other users' profiles (unless given permission for helpful reasons) or discriminating/harassing any users they don't like should be refrained.
  • Mini-modding - Normal users who lack moderation rights are not allowed to send warnings to others. Friendly advice and tips are totally fine, but only admins have the right to give out warnings.
  • Page discussions - Please remain on topic with the pages' content discussions; they're only used for discussing about suggestions, problems, etc, for the articles.
  • Piracy - For legal reasons, do not give out download links to pirated/torrent copies of the games. However, only the archived download links for obscured game prototypes and recently discontinued games are allowed.
  • Age requirement - As per the Wiki.gg's Terms of Service, all users must required to be of at least 13 years of age or older to legally contribute the Bendy Wiki. This is in virtue of Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA) outlined in 15 U.S. Code §§ 6501-6506. Any users who are confirmed to be 12 or under will be blocked until such time that they would conceivably be 13.
  • Ban-evading - If you are blocked for violating the rules, do not make a new account to dodge the block. Doing so will result in the alt account's ban, while extending the main account's block.
  • Administrators - Respect the admins' authority, even if there isn't a listed rule. If they make a change for the articles, it's their final. If, however, you believe they do made a mistake, please message them on their talk page.
  • Admin rights - Do not ask the admin members for administrator rights. We are not fully open for promoting new administrators and only takes a lot of responsibilities before getting promoted.

If you notice a user breaking any rules above, please report them to the admins and they will deal with them shortly.
