Bendy and the Ink Machine is an upcoming live-action horror film adaptation based on the video game of the same name and it has been under production[1] and directed by André Øvredal. It will be made by Joey Drew Studios Inc in partnership with Radar Pictures and Double Down Pictures.

Development
The film was announced on December 25th, 2023 with an announcement image signifying its production to be made by Joey Drew Studios in partnership with Radar Pictures. The idea for the movie was discussed after Bendy and the Dark Revival was completed. Before the official announcement, Mike D was releasing hourly tweets to give out Steam keys for the entirety of Bendy and the Ink Machine, each time with a single capitalized letter in his message, and if all of them are added together, it spells out as "It will not be on your radar", likely referencing the company they were partnering with.
On June 15th, 2024, Mike D. provided a little statement on the movie in a giant update thread touching all Bendy projects, stating that he is extremely happy with the direction the movie is taking and that it will take a lot of time to complete.
On October 21st, 2024, Joey Drew Studios Inc announced that a director for the Bendy movie had been hired with the director later making an announcement on Halloween.[2]
On October 31st, 2024, the unseen director was revealed to be André Øvredal alongside the movie's title "Bendy and the Ink Machine". In André's announcement, he stated that he was excited to be directing the Bendy and the Ink Machine film. He promised that the movie was going to be something the fans will love and that it will honor the characters and the world of the original Bendy and the Ink Machine game. He ended his statement by saying he couldn't be more excited, and that Bendy was going to grace the big screen.[3]
