Archie Carter is a volunteer for the Gent Corporation, he was a test subject for the company.
History
Early life
Not much is known about Archie Carter's past but it's implied that he was either, homeless or broke.[1]
Becoming a test subject
At some point the Gent Corporation started to advertise jobs of paying people $350 a week if they become a test subject. After seeing the advertisement Archie decided to volunteer for the job as he needed money. Although, he quickly regretted this decision after seeing what they did to their test subjects. What happened to Archie after this is unknown but likely he either escaped or met the same fate as the others.

Personality
Not much is known about Archie's personality, but he is shown to be disgusted about what was happening at the Gent workshop, despite seeing dead people before. Showing that he's sympathetic to some extent. He is quite desperate since he is willing to take any kind of job just to get money, even becoming a test subject. He is also said to be one who doesn't like asking questions, implying that he might be an introvert.
