Briar Label, fully known as Briar Label Company, is a food product production and distribution company of which Bendy is a spokestoon for Bacon Soup products to promote his media. It was founded by Wilfred Briar.[1]
History
Briar Label was founded by Wilfred Briar. At some point, During World War II, Briar Label partnered with Joey Drew Studios. Upon which the food company made a Bendy-exclusive soup called "Bacon Soup." The soup's recipe was requested to be stored away by Wilfred.[1]
As part of the licensing, Briar stocked Joey Drew Studios with free Bacon Soup as a thank-you. This made the studio request their employees to eat the soup at their desks rather than going out for lunch.[2]
Behind the scenes
Briar Label is an unseen company first mentioned in the Joey Drew Studios Employee Handbook, and later in its updated edition.
