Hello Bendy was a crossover event between Hello Neighbor and Bendy and the Ink Machine for Halloween 2017, which was released on October 27, 2017 and ended on October 31st, 2017.

While it is still possible to access the Hello Neighbor side of the Event via the Betas tab in Steam, the Bendy and the Ink Machine side is no longer available without downloading the build off of Steam's servers via the Steam Console, or via a third party app.

Hello Neighbor

Hello Neighbor's side of the event gave Theodore Peterson a mask resembling Sammy Lawrence's mask, as well as changing his chase theme with Bendy's.

This update also added a lot of Bendy related things around the town of Raven Brooks:

• The Ink Demon head on the water tower.
• A Bendy statue head in Nicky Roth's fridge.
• Sammy's mask on the house next to Theodore's house.
• The Ink Demon head in the blue key's hallway.

Bendy and the Ink Machine

Bendy's side of the event replaced the Ink Demon in all three chapters, along with Sammy Lawrence in the second chapter, with the Hello Neighbor antagonist Theodore Peterson, as well as replacing the Ink Demon's chase theme with his own. The game's title edited to have a keyhole in the letter D akin to the Hello Neighbor logo, and a advertisement for Hello Neighbor was added to the title screen, underneath the usual menu buttons.

This update also replaced a lot of the signs around the Cycle with different phrases, most notably:

• In Chapter 1, the "Welcome" archway sign is replaced with "Happy Halloween!"
• In Chapter 1, the break room's power text "Running" is replaced with "Hello Neighbor".
• In Chapter 2, the stairwell's exit sign is replaced with "Trick or Treat!".
• In Chapter 3, the "Demon' and "'Angel" signs in the Choice hallway are replaced with "Trick" and "Treat" respectively.
