Hellfire Follies is a music track of Bendy and the Ink Machine, used for Chapter 1: Moving Pictures and Chapter 5: The Last Reel.

Description

The music track's theme tone is a homage to older, classic cartoons from the early 20th century, composed of a tuba, clarinet, cymbals, and a slightly discordant piano.

Usage

Main usage

  • In Chapter 1: Moving Pictures, the music is heard when Henry approaches the projector from the filming areas of the Old Studio's main lobby, suggesting that the music is coming out of the cartoon itself.
  • In Chapter 5: The Last Reel, the track is heard once again, in which the track is emanating from the projector which lies in a room that looks oddly similar to the workroom along with Henry Stein's desk, which lies in front of the door of the hallway in which the Ink Demon can be seen walking by.

Behind the scenes

The "Hellfire Follies" track was composed by theMeatly. It was available on the deleted Game Jolt soundtrack and Bandcamp's Bendy and the Ink Machine: Chapter Two Soundtrack as track #2.

The track was first composed for the Bendy and the Ink Machine prototype demo. In this version, this track was also used for the animation screen from the theater. In the first-second remastered updates, the track was replaced by "You Left Me in a Heartbeat", which was then ultimately replaced by Bendy's theme song whistle for the third and final remastered update.

The track is also used for Hot Topic's "See you at HOT TOPIC" video, and at the end of Chapter 3: Rise and Fall release date announcement trailer.
