Dorothy[1] "Dot" was a writer at Joey Drew Studios in 1946. She becomes friends with Buddy Lewek quick after first meeting, and urged him to further investigate the mysterious happenings at Joey Drew Studios. After quitting from the studio, she became an employee at a bookshop.

History

Early life

Dot has a deceased husband that was conscripted to fight in World War II. He died a month after the wedding, and a month before the end of the war. The two were high school sweethearts and were married in a courthouse shortly before he left.[2]

Characteristics

Physical appearance

Dot is a short, stocky girl with broad shoulders, sweaty dirty-blonde hair that falls out of its curls first thing in the morning, and large cat’s eye glasses that seem a little too big for her face.

Personality

Dot is curious and has a desire to know the answer to every secret there is. She is also rather strategic and clever, managing to escape Sammy and wait for the right moment to knock him out. She notes to be brave, and doesn't like it when people leave her hanging as shown by when Buddy decides to go to a party with Joey, instead of investigating the studio. She is also shown to be caring about Buddy as seen by her crying when mentioning him in a conversation.[3]
