Bendy and the Ink Machine

In Chapter 1: Moving Pictures, the inkwell is one of the six items Henry must collect in order to turn on the Ink Machine. The inkwell is located in the Animation Department, on the desk in the corner of the room.

The inkwell later appeared inChapter 3: Rise and Fall but as an unobtainable background item, commonly used in the environments.

Behind the scenes

The inkwell first appears in the first chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine and later returns in the prologue of Bendy and the Dark Revival.

Development

In older updates for Bendy and the Ink Machine until the release of Chapter 4, the inkwell's location is randomized:

The inkwell, as seen in some Bendy and the Ink Machine screenshots, was placed in different locations but cannot be seen in-game:

  • From the first remastered screenshot of the art room's outside mini workroom, the inkwell was seen on the right side of the animation desk.
  • From the latest remastered screenshot of the work lobby, the inkwell is seen on the barrel next to the Joey Drew Studios trademark.

Other information

In Bendy and the Ink Machine, the texture for the record's description area center is used for the top of the inkwell's pen but can be fully seen when using the modeling program.
