Version 1.2.0 is an update patch released for Bendy and the Ink Machine on April 18, 2017. It was released for the initial DLC launch of Chapter 2: The Old Song as the game's first remastered edition update.
Update log
General
- The main menu screen updated.
- Running ability added.
- Achievements added.
- The post-credit scene is replaced with a static image of the post-Ink Demon attack, with the inky remains of Sammy Lawrence.
Chapter One
Features
- Three new areas added:
- Office hallway's small office.
- Theater's projector closet.
- Inaccessible staircase room next to Henry Stein's desk.
- Bacon Soup collectibles added, but there are only two soup cans.
- Three new music tracks added:
- A new object is added: a music radio
Changes
- Bendy's glove darts are replaced with buttons to give him a unique glove design. This update was given for his cutouts, cartoon posters, and the theater's projection animation clip, although some miniature cutouts were left unchanged.
- The violin string used to for the cutout jumpscare is altered to a higher pitch. The cutout peeking around the corner near the theater now uses the same sound effect.
- Updated the deceased Boris clone's model, from beta to current.
- Updated the Ink Demon's model, from alpha to beta.
- The ink footprints are added to the floor, which was next to the entrance of the Ink Machine's room.
- The basement location is expanded with several staircases.
- A cutscene is added for the ending. It flashes three static flashback-like images; A shot of the Ink Machine, the Ink Demon, and a wheelchair, along with the brief scene of the Ink Demon standing next to Henry's desk, and the chapter ends up with Henry fainting.
Removed content
- From outside of the art room, the light from underneath the door was removed.
- The door found next to the break room's entrance was removed.
- Henry's "I'm getting the hell out of here!" dialog was removed.
