"Not a bad job, kid. You ever need a gig, let me know." |
Scott is a Gent employee. He is one of the few Gent workers who's still in Atlantic City and is Thomas Connor's right-hand man.
History
Early life
At some point he joined Gent and became Thomas' right hand man at the their headquarters. After the Ink Machine was shipped to Atlantic City, he found an old meatpacking factory from the Prohibition days as a place to store the machine.
Fixing things
After a power outage at the Rose Club bar, Scott was called in to fix the fuse box. After arriving, he sees that Bill Chambers had already fixed it. He takes a closer look at it as Bill explains what he had to do. They then shake hands as Scott compliments Bill and tells him to let him know if he wants a gig, Brant then laughs and jokes about Scott's offer. Confused, Scott leaves.
Scott later gets called in again as a projector starts to breakdown in Emmett's plaza. When he arrives the projector was already fixed by Bill, he then turns the projector on and it works again. He compliments Bill again and asks if he remembers what he told him yesterday. Only for Bill's father, Emmett Chambers, to get annoyed and order him to leave, Scott then rolls his eyes and leaves.
Help hiring Bill
Bill Chambers arrives at Gent's headquarter, which was an empty storefront, and Scott greets him. Bill questions if it was wrong timing, to which Scott responds by telling it was otherwise. They then exit the building and Scott locks it up. He then asks Bill what he can do for him, Bill informs him that he wants to work for Gent for free, Scott informs him that the boss, Thomas Connor, will be thrilled as he has the skills. Bill then asks if he gets the job, to which Scott offers him to speak with the boss himself about that and Bill accepts. They then get inside Scott's truck and drive to a jazz bar called "Jive Dive". During the drive, Scott drives quite recklessly, making Bill motion sick and almost hitting a woman before causally swerving around her.
After arriving at the bar, they approach Thomas Connor and sit down. Scott tells Thomas about Bill and the two shake hands. Then Bill informs Thomas about his excitement on working for Gent, a company that made great inventions, Thomas gets suspicious and asks Scott what he had told Bill, Scott laughs and assures him that he didn't tell anything out of the ordinary. Scott then asks if everything went well last night which to Thomas responds with a nod, Scott expresses his disapproval of the situation with Joey, only to get shushed by Thomas as he insists that what he did was the right decision. Scott then tells him that he should have dumped the Ink Machine into the ocean, Thomas then almost talks about what the ink would do if loose in the ocean before stopping himself. Thomas then officially hires Bill.
Going insane
After encountering the Ink Demon Scott started to lose his mind and the ink enhanced his paranoia. After seeing Bill inside the meatpacking factory's tunnels he yelled his name and attacked him. After some struggling Thomas was able to grab Scott and hold him still above the ground. After getting up, Bill demanded to now what was happening as Thomas tried to calm Scott down. Scott screamed that the monster was coming for them. Joey then ordered Thomas to silence him as Scott stated that Joey was at fault and was the "real monster", he also mockingly questioned how Joey wanted Thomas to silence him while frantically laughing. He then bit Thomas' hand and ran down the tunnel, Bill and Thomas chased after him, only to find out that Scott had ran into a wall and passed out.
He then later found Constance and asked for help in an animalistic manner while claiming that the Ink Demon was after him. Constance asked if he knew a way out but Scott repeatedly insisted that there was no escape. Then he stated that no one could help and that the Ink Demon was going to kill everyone. Constance offered Scott to come with her as she found a way to leave the factory, Scott refused and crawled back into the darkness, then vanished.
Aftermath
Later that night Scott somehow ended up in a car which Joey happened to be in as well. The car then stopped to pick up an exhausted Constance. After seeing her, Scott told Constance once again that there was no escape, and the car drove off as he kept repeatedly saying no. It was implied that Joey later silenced Constance and Scott by killing them with the ink since they knew too much.[1][2]
Characteristics
Personality
Scott is usually nice and helpful. He usually compliments Bill for his skills even going as far as saying that Thomas Connor will be "thrilled" by them. He is also quite helpful as shown by people usually calling him in first whenever something breaks. He also seems to care about Thomas as seen by him defending him about Joey's mistreatment of him, but unlike him Scott seems to believe that the Ink Machine is dangerous and that they should discard it.
After losing his mind, Scott became incredibly paranoid and unstable always claiming that the Ink Demon is coming and that there was no way out. He seems to have crazed a bit, as seen by him attacking Bill and biting off Thomas' hand. He also seems to have a hatred or dislike towards Joey Drew for requesting the machine's creation, which is seen by him claiming that he is the real monster and everything is his fault.
Behind the scenes
Scott appears in Bendy: The Lost Ones as a side character, he first appears when a fuse box breaks and later on a when a projector starts to break. He later appear as a crazed and paranoid version of himself, after encountering the Ink Denon.
