Sammy Lawrence's Sanctuary
- This article refers to a hidden sanctuary owned by Sammy. For other uses, see Sammy (disambiguation).
Sammy Lawrence's sanctuary is a location in the recording studio within the ink realm.
It represents the location Sammy used as his "thinking room", where he goes when he needs to think for his next tune, just like Jack Fain. It is implied he ditched his office for this room, as he was tired of people coming in and out and disturbing him.
Background
Originally a storage closet for the recording studio, this room has several backup instruments, as well Sammy's own equipment, and a toilet. There are also Bendy plushies scattered throughout the room, with a big pentagram in the middle, and writing on the walls that reads "SING A HAPPY SONG, WHISTLE A MERRY TUNE, WAIT FOR HIS ARRIVAL, HE'S COMING VERY SOON."
Points of interest
This area plays a crucial role in this part:
- It is where Henry must visit to unblock one flood gate.
- It is where Sammy must unlock to hide from the Ink Demon.
Behind the scenes
Sammy Lawrence's sanctuary is a location in Chapter 2 of Bendy and the Ink Machine. It made a reappearance in Bendy: Lone Wolf.
Development
Sammy's sanctuary's first appearance was in the launch version of Chapter 2: The Old Song, and was subsequently revamped in the second remaster edition when Chapter 3: Rise and Fall released.
