The lunch room is a location from the workshop within the Cycle.

Based on the layout, this room served as a break room to fill the gap left behind when the previous break room was converted to house the Ink Machine's switch and pedestals.

Background

It is a large room containing a couple of round tables with chairs, with giant cartoon posters printed on walls. There is a door leading to the small closet, and a hallway that leads to a boarded up cellar.

Points of interests

• The lunch room's door, at first, will not be opened until after lifting the Ink Machine from the loading dock. The door locks itself again after activating the Ink Machine with all six items collected.
• The closet contains a few cans of Bacon Soup.
• The Illusion of Living book is found on one of the round tables with several other books. It is one of the six items for the break room.
• A punch card stand can be found in this location.
• The dartboard can be found. Interacting with it will start a minigame.
• The cellar is found boarded up, but it will be only accessible by completing the main story after triggering all horror visions without dying and re-visiting the lunch room. If done so correctly, the cellar is no longer boarded up, with the trapdoor opened for Henry to jump in. Inside it reveals a doorway leading to an inky tunnel similar to when Henry dies. Reaching the other side will teleport Henry back to the front door, with his vision changed into black and white filter.

Trivia

The lunch room was found in Chapter 1: Moving Pictures of Bendy and the Ink Machine. It was first featured in the second remastered update for the DLC release of Chapter 3: Rise and Fall.

In its initial version prior to the DLC release of Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders, the lunch room was not implemented with the dart minigame and other props such as curtains. The Bendy cutout can also be moved around. This location is one of the many rooms where more items are randomly found than just the book, including the Bendy doll, record, wrench, inkwell, and the gear.
