Boris' safehouse is a hideout owned by Boris the Wolf and located in the ink realm.
Background
This location is modeled after an actual house. From the hall between the doors leading to the bathroom and the living room are overalls, pants, and a pair of boxer shorts hanging on the wall.
Bedroom
The bedroom is a location where Boris sleeps.
In Henry's journey, Henry would find a bone for Boris from the chest trunk before leaving the safehouse, right after finding the door lever.[1]
In an alternative cycle, Boris sleeps on the bed instead.
Bathroom
When using the Seeing Tool, the message appeared on the mirror, written as "WHO AM I NOW?"[1]
When the cycle was interrupted, the bathroom is boarded up instead.
Living room
The living room is the safehouse's main location. There is a dining table, and next to the table is a phonograph.
In Henry's journey, Henry tries to leave the safehouse to find another exit. This is prompted with the door lever missing and Henry asks Boris about it, who is sitting next to the table of the living room. Boris holds the door lever hostage until Henry makes him some Bacon Soup. Henry finds three cans of Bacon Soup, prepare them in the pot on the stove, and give the soup bowl to Boris for the door lever, then finally exited the safehouse with Boris.[1]
When using the Seeing Tool, the "I'M SORRY, BUDDY" message appeared on the kitchen table, and "REMINDS ME OF HOME" appeared on top of the house painting.[1]
In the alternative cycle, the moment Boris picks up a box of Gent sticks, the door opens to begin his solo adventure.
Kitchen
The kitchen is located at the side of the safehouse's living room. Next to the stove is a corner with a colleague of scraps that was meant to represent Boris' original human self, "Buddy".[2]
When the cycle was stopped, Boris instead finds scraps to piece together his old human self.
Lift
The lift is located to the west of the safehouse and used to travel between the different levels of the ink realm. In Henry's journey, the door to the lift is boarded up and can't be opened.
In an alternative cycle, the lift becomes accessible for Boris to access any floors he chooses.
Behind the scenes
Boris' safehouse is a location that appeared in the third chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine as the chapter's starting location. It also appeared in Boris and the Dark Survival and Bendy: Lone Wolf as the game's main hub.
Development
The safehouse was made when the third chapter's DLC version for Bendy and the Ink Machine is under development. Before the DLC release of Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders, the safehouse's bathroom was not flooded with ink and the light was brighter.
Other information
The toilet sound effect in the bathroom is actually a recording of Mike D's own toilet.[3]
