"Well, I believe Joey. I wholeheartedly believe!"
Nathan's audio log.

Nathan Arch Sr is the owner of an animation company, Arch Gate Pictures, and one of the old friends of Joey Drew.

History

Joey Drew Studios on the verge of bankruptcy

A tape recorded by Joey Drew was at some point sent to Nathan, whilst the latter had been vacationing in South America with his spouse, Tessa. The tape mentioned that Joey would never ask him for help unless absolutely necessary, and how he believed that when one is in a tight spot, they should ask for help, and bluntly states that the studio is running low on funding, and Joey requested that Nathan send him additional funding, before wishing both Nathan and Tessa well on their vacation.[1] It is currently unknown what Nathan's response to the plea was.

His legacy

Over the years, while the success of Joey Drew Studios plummeted, Nathan Arch had such skyrocketing success that he was considered an "industrial genius" and a "business tycoon" in the real and cartoon worlds alike, and all thanks to how well he connected with the "doers" of the world (people willing to think big and work to make things happen with their own will power, as opposed to Joey's "dreamers" who need constant motivation under fantasy propaganda). With all that success, however, Nathan's own son, Wilson, felt rejected from constantly living under his father's shadow, leading to rather shady events in the ink realm.

Reviving Joey's legacy

After years of success, Nathan wanted to make something that would be fun both for himself and the masses. Upon his son's suggestion, he decided to open an animation studio. After establishing Arch Gate Pictures, Nathan bought the Bendy IP at 9 AM of February 10, 1972. He was interviewed by the The New York Times, where he stated that he had big plans for Bendy and was striving to make Joey proud.[2]

Behind the scenes

Nathan Arch is one of the many characters of the Bendy series. While his company was first mentioned towards the end of Bendy and the Ink Machine, his name was first mentioned in a formal game, Boris and the Dark Survival[1] and was reintroduced in Bendy: Lone Wolf. He later appeared in Bendy and the Dark Revival, but only his portrait was seen along with his series of audio logs.

Nathan Arch was voiced by Mark Dodson.
