"Can you believe what we're seeing?"
The Patron.[1]

The Patron[2] is a friendly Lost One who resides in the Golden Days Gallery.

History

Early life

His early life is unknown, however it's presumed that his soul was brought into the ink realm. At some point, he ended up in an art gallery.

At the art gallery

The Patron is found admiring art in the Golden Days Gallery. He acts friendly towards people mostly, including Boris, and will compliment the artwork but wants to look in peace. Every time Boris returns to the level containing his safehouse, the Patron will move to another spot around the art gallery, still admiring them.[1]

Characteristics

Physical appearance

The Patron looks exactly like a regular Lost One and wears a large top hat.

Personality

The Patron, unlike most Lost Ones, is quite kind and shown to be a very positive critic. The Patron also really enjoys art, always admiring it. He really only wants to look at the art undisturbed.

Behind the scenes

The Patron is a character that appeared in Bendy: Lone Wolf,[1] and previously in Boris and the Dark Survival.[3]

Development

The Patron was introduced in the Symphony of Shadows update for Boris and the Dark Survival, using the Lost One model from Bendy and the Ink Machine without any unique traits.[3] In his reappearance for Bendy: Lone Wolf, he was given a hat to make him a "dapper".[4]

His name was officially revealed on July 1, 2020, a day after the release of Symphony of Shadows.[2]

Portrayal

He is voiced by Jason Miller.[5]
