Borkis
- This article refers to the hidden entity based on Boris. For other uses, see Boris (disambiguation).
"HELLO" |
Borkis is an entity based on Joey Drew Studios' character Boris the Wolf. He appears both in and outside of the Cycle's walls.
History
Level 414
Rarely, it's possible for one of the three adventurers to encounter Borkis, as after day 11 or later of going down through the levels, there is a 1/3000 chance for the elevator to land on Level 414. Note that the day is also changed to 414, but only when encountering this level. Borkis will spawn in this level as well, having the same movements and same footstep sounds as Boris. When spotting the adventurer, Borkis will run after them, being the same speed as Boris when he's running. The only main difference from Boris and him is that he has two glowing eyes that illuminate the tiled floor.
The Void
Borkis appears in the void, sitting on a monolith of some sort. The monolith has multiple numbers on it, which when converted to text (A = 1, B = 2, etc.), it's revealed that it says the word "HELLO".
Characteristics
Physical appearance
Borkis' appearance is identically that of the ink manifestation of Boris and the clones. The only distinctive feature are his eyes that glow a bright yellow and illuminates like some sort of flashlight.

Gameplay
Boris and the Dark Survival
Borkis is a unique enemy that is exclusive to the hidden Level 414. Borkis' behavior is similar to that of the Ink Demon, the Projectionist, Alice Angel, and the Butcher Gang. When Boris enters Borkis' field of vision, the chase will start, but entering the Little Miracle Station will halt Borkis from his pursuit and he will wander off.
Borkis has all the same animations as Boris and lacks his own signature chase theme, reusing the Ink Demon's "Shadows Follow" track.
