This article refers to the main enemies of the Bendy franchise. For other uses, see Lost Ones (disambiguation).

The Lost Ones are a group of Lost Ones that are hostile against other creatures of the ink realm, attacking intruders and the people Wilson demand.

History

Early life

The Lost Ones were likely humans before being brought into the ink realm, acting as test subjects for Joey Drew and the Gent Corporation. Some of these Lost Ones started to go mad after being stuck in the cycle for so long, resulting in them aggressively attacking any intruder on sight.

Always finds them

Henry Stein encounters a Lost One for the first time in the Lounge room with a balcony high above. The Lost One moves towards the handrail on the balcony, muttering about someone that "always finds" him, and then states that he wants to go home, not knowing when "we" go home, before walking away.

Once Henry enters the next room, he discovers a large group of Lost Ones, huddled together. Multiple are seen behind cages imbedded into the walls. One of them is seen in the corner, crying. None of these Lost Ones attack Henry. Once Henry enters the Vents, the way he came is blocked off by two Lost Ones.

Multiple other Lost Ones appear throughout Henry's journey, with a suicidal one seen through a vent banging their head against a wall, another in Storage 9 on top of a cage, and another is in Research and Design, crying.

Sammy's death

When Henry enters the Lost Harbor, he can see a Lost One on a house high above the ink, fishing. This Lost One does not attack.

Sammy will come out to fight, and after Henry and Tom deal with him, a rumbling can be heard. Allison comes to the conclusion that Sammy must have been keeping the Lost Ones and Searchers at bay, but now that he's gone, they have to prepare for a fight. Less than five seconds after she mentions a fight, Searchers spawn. Lost Ones spawn throughout the fight with items often in their hands. Eventually, the three of them manage to kill all of them, aside from the fishing Lost One, who does not do anything throughout the fight except fish.

The Machine

In the giant Ink Machine, Lost Ones are seen throughout the machine in small cubicles, being completely still and lacking their yellow eyes, likely in their creation process.

A stranger

After Audrey entered the ink realm, Wilson started speaking on the intercom recounting the amount of days the Lost Ones had lived without the Ink Demon killing them and asked for a favor, to be on the lookout for Audrey and to bring her to him, from then on all the way to the end, the Lost Ones whenever Audrey gets spotted attack her at every place she explores.

Characteristics

Physical appearance

The Lost One enemies share similarities to humans, having eyes, hands and feet with the difference being that they're made of ink rather then flesh. Their faces having constant dripping ink on them and missing many human features, such as noses, mouths and ears.

Personality

During Bendy and the Dark Revival, the Lost Ones act slightly insane, saying things in a quick manner, and often yelling about what their purpose is. They also seem to make quite a few accusations, believing Audrey to be an Ink Demon follower despite Wilson never saying anything like that.

Various Lost Ones also seem to be suicidal, telling others not to feel bad for them and saying they want to die, which is practically impossible due to the cycle.

Gameplay

Strategy

Bendy and the Ink Machine

Since their debut in Chapter 4, the Lost Ones are non-hostile and do not attack Henry Stein until in the middle part of Chapter 5. The Lost Ones with weapons deal +2 damage points, as it takes only 3 hits to kill Henry. The Lost Ones without weapons only take +1 damage point, slowly killing Henry with a total of 6 hits.
