"Ink Widows have begun to infest where the light grows darkest."
King Widow's description[1]

The Ink Widows are arachnid-like creatures that mostly inhabit the sewers, being the children of the King Widow.

History

Early life

It's currently unknown how these spider-like creatures were created, but it's likely that they were created from the King Widow, as he has the ability to spit out eggs containing these Widows. Whether the Ink Bulbs were created from the Ink Widows or the King Widow himself is unknown, but the bulbs seem to house most of the widows.

An intruder

After being ejected from the elevator, Audrey falls into a cirular room. She wakes up to a widow tries to grab her Gent Pipe. Audrey then stands up as Ink Bulbs release more and more Ink Widows, and she then hits multiple levers throughout the room. These levers reveal lights that cause the widows to retreat. Suddenly, their king emerges from a manhole in the middle and begins his attacks against the intruder.

During one of the King Widow's attacks, he spits out brown eggs that burst and reveal more Ink Widows. Once they're all killed, he continues his other attack. While the King Widow attacks, the Ink Bulbs can still summmon Ink Widows, if all the Bulbs haven't been destroyed.

A Ink Widow can be seen on top of Lord Amok's head, acting as a crown.

Characteristics

Physical appearance

The Ink Widows appear to be small, spider-like creatures with four legs. Each leg ends with a sharp point. The main part of the body is a simple inky sphere with a mouth in the middle.

Behavior

The Ink Widows, when summoned, will run up to Audrey and try to bite her.

Behind the scenes

The Ink Widows are minor enemies that appear in Bendy and the Dark Revival's Chapter 3: The Eternal Machine.

Development

The Ink Widows originally were able to walk on walls and ceilings. This was scrapped because the environment got in the way of the widows and was deemed to not fit with the game very well.[2]

Widows were originally planned to appear more around the sewers and other areas.[Citation needed]
