The King Widow is a large arachnid-like creature that is the father of the Ink Widows. He inhabits his lair.

History

Early life

How the King Widow was brought into the Cycle is unknown, but he seems to be the one who brought the Ink Widows into the world with the eggs he spits out. He later takes rest in the area he decided to inhabit, being his lair. Whether the Ink Widows or their king created the Ink Bulbs is unknown.

The intruder

After some lights are revealed to the manhole in the middle of the lair by hitting some switches, Audrey notices that the Ink Widows that are currently attacking her retreat into some small holes in the wall. The manhole is then slowly opened by the King Widow, and he emits a loud screeching sound before beginning his attacks against Audrey. He slowly approaches Audrey and slices at her when she gets close enough. If he's hit enough times, then he jumps onto the ceiling of his lair and spits out eggs that bring more Ink Widows into the fight. When all his young are defeated, he hops down and continues his slow approach.

After a while, Audrey wins against him and he lets out a final screech before fully dying, allowing her to progress through the rest of the sewers.
