Common Searchers

From Bendy Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search
This article refers to the enemies. For other uses, see Searchers (disambiguation).

"I know it's scary, but you're actually pretty lucky. The Machine could have turned you into a Searcher."
Allison Angel talking to Audrey about the Searchers.[1]

The Common Searchers are one of the hostile creatures and the most recognizable Searcher variants to battle against for survival.

Behavior

They first appear as puddles of inky, bubbly slime in their idle state. Upon being approached, they materialize and attack. The puddles will still remain after killing the Searchers. When spawned, the Searchers start following the protagonists until they get the chance to attack. Upon hitting them with a weapon, they will collapse into ink and disappear, allowing Henry to continue. On occasions, they can come in packs.

Gameplay

Bendy and the Ink Machine

Strategy

The Searchers are very basic enemies and easily killable. However, the Searchers can be very dangerous when spawning in large pack. If outrun from them or hide inside the Little Miracle Station, the Searchers will vanish and only reappear if Henry approach them again. Timing may be difficult since they are almost as fast as Henry himself.

The Searchers are weak enemies and also very slow attackers, as their attack takes only 6 hits to kill Henry.

Locations

The Searchers are the first encountered enemies that made their first debut in chapter 2 at the Music Department with some of them appearing throughout later chapters except chapters 1 and 4.

Weapon data

The Searchers has the lowest amount of health in the game, with a total of 2 health points. Henry's weapons take only 1-2 hits to kill them.
