This article refers to the Ink Demon's beast form. For other uses, see Bendy (disambiguation).

Beast Bendy is the alternate, monstrous form of the Ink Demon. Besides transforming into this form alone, the Ink Demon can also merge with hosts to assume this form, while granting his hosts some supernatural strength, durability, and stamina.

History

Defeated by the end

The Ink Demon will transform into Beast Bendy near the climax during the encounter inside the giant Ink Machine lair's throne room. He then backhands Henry, building a huge hole through the wall.

Starting the encounter, Henry pushed in a maze full of corridors, which the beast himself will be charging through. Henry makes his way out of the maze and now finds himself in the ink-pumping station, a room with four giant pipes that ink flow through. After luring Beast Bendy to shatter all of the pipes, the lights will go out briefly. When they turn back on, Beast Bendy will have disappeared. Henry continues through the now opened door, leading back to the throne room. He inserts the "The End" reel into the projector next to the throne. Beast Bendy will then appear behind Henry and prepare to attack him, but is then distracted and harmed by the "The End" displaying from the projection screens surrounding him. Realizing this, Bendy attempts to remove the reel only for a bright light to push him back as he crawls toward his throne. This eventually causes him to dissolve, finally ending his life as Henry is sent to Joey's apartment home.

Defeated by the end, again

Beast Bendy is created when the Ink Demon merged with Audrey, with the former first takes control by breaking Joey Drew's bones and tossing him to the Ink Machine's pool. Audrey then takes control as she picks up the "The End" reel and starts making her way to the projector room while attacking the Lost Ones and Searchers. The allies, including Allison, Tom, Porter, the Lurker, Heidi, and Henry come to her aid, while she was being taunted by the Ink Demon. Sammy Lawrence briefly appears, preaching Beast Bendy’s coming and calling out for all to submit to him, only to be shot dead by Allison with the Tommy gun. Once there, Audrey puts the reel in one of the projectors and the Projectionist's head shines on their face resetting the Cycle.

Characteristics

Physical appearance

This powerful, ferocious form of the Ink Demon has a much muscular build and almost entirely ink-black in color. Compared to his original form, the shape of this monstrosity is almost symmetrical. While still having absent eyes, his enlarged head lost a lot of cartoonish traits with a wide mouth having complete rows of fierce sharp teeth, along with sporting filthy brown gums, longer slim horns, four-fingered clawed hands, and broader blade-shaped spines on the back. The bowtie and left glove on his hand are absent. His body structure and movements appear to be modeled after gorillas, in that both move by knuckle walking, and using their hands to slam down the ground.

In Bendy and the Ink Machine, his shoulders are stretched and bulky, sporting a long nail on each both elbows, chest covered with needle-like thorns, and as well surprisingly large arms with gnarly hands each possessing four clawed fingers and two holes, reminiscent of the style of the original Bendy's gloves. His lower body is much smaller than his upper torso, as his legs and lower chest are thin and lanky. His feet, however, are changed while still being asymmetrical; his right foot sporting three toes while the left is even further underdeveloped, so much it is nothing more than a stubby spike.

His appearance in Bendy and the Dark Revival does not change much, but his lower body is now properly developed and he can actually walk and stand on his legs, without having to walk around on his fists, although he still moves by knuckle walking. His body is also now a lot larger and more muscular.

Behavior

Beast Bendy attains a more ferocious animal-like behavior with his movement and strength, and his fighting techniques seem to be similar to that of gorillas. He is extremely powerful, being able to fling anyone through a wall with a swat of his arm and also smash through walls easily.

Gameplay

Strategy

Bendy and the Ink Machine

Henry will die in a single hit if trampled by Beast Bendy. Without weapons, Henry is defenseless against Beast Bendy.

In the first phase, at the maze, Beast Bendy will run around teleporting through randomized walls at a faster speed. Using the Seeing Tool, Henry can see arrows depicting the path to follow. Hugging the walls also allows Henry to dodge Bendy's ramming. If Henry is standing in the middle of a hall and Beast Bendy hits him, he is instantly killed. Henry's objective is to pull all four levers located in the room. Doing so results in a door opening, revealing a path to the next area Henry is headed to.

In the second phase, at the ink-pumping station, there is a valve attached to the wall. Start this phase by turning the valve, and Beast Bendy would appear behind him. To escape the beast, Henry has to lure him towards each ink pipe and make him ram into it, shattering the pipe.

Bendy and the Dark Revival

Behind the scenes

Beast Bendy is a final boss of Bendy and the Ink Machine as he appeared at the end of Chapter 5: The Last Reel. He returned in Bendy and the Dark Revival as a playable character in Chapter 5: The Dark Revival.

Development

Beast Bendy was created when the final chapter is in production for Bendy and the Ink Machine. Beast Bendy's concept art by Gavin McCarthy shows that his teeth resemble Bendy's but slightly crooked and less sharp, and also has fully developed, symmetrical feet.
