This article refers to the enemy counterpart. For the original counterpart, see Gaskette.

"Blood wheel, blood wheel, can't you hear her breaks squeal? Blood wheel, blood wheel, coming 'round the bend..."
The "Blood Wheel" song referring to Gaskette.[1]

Gaskette is a living cartoon experiment based on her original counterpart.[1]

History

Shortly upon revisiting the Drawing Board's entrance after Riley's flashback sequence, Gaskette appears at the end of the left hall. Once approached, she becomes active with her eye lights turn on, and starts pursuing the Vessel in attempt to run them over until the Vessel either reaches the dead end or entering the Drawing Board lobby safely.[1]

Characteristics

Physical appearance

Gaskette resembles her original cartoon version, but this version's design is rather more monstrous and gnarly. Her triangular sharp teeth is replaced with a large set of actual human teeth complete with black gums and has dark-red blood stains. Her insides are filled with organic ink mass, with a human eyeball on the right-hand side of the front seat window, and both doors from the front seat area sprout into humanoid arms of ink. Although not normally seen, Gaskette has a license plate that reads "DETH2U," which is "DEATH TO YOU."

Behavior

In contrast to the original Gaskette, this experiment is made as a physical manifestation of Riley Wells' trauma, appearing violent and would run over anything she sees in cold blood.

Behind the scenes

Gaskette appeared in Bendy: Secrets of the Machine as one of the game's few enemies, along with the Ink Demon.

Notes

  1. Unlike the original Gaskette who is male, the inky counterpart is revealed to be female, which is evident by her dedicated "Blood Wheel" song and her audio file name 'sfx_gaskette_thereshecomes'. In addition, although not officially confirmed, it was heavily implied that Riley Wells actually ends up turned into an inky version of Gaskette, as further backed up by Riley being credited as Gaskette's original creator for her drawings, which were inspired by Riley's own trauma from seeing her parents dying in a car accident.
